ARC Programs provide assistance with drug and alcohol support, and mental health support. They are available twice a week to work one on one with our at risk youth.
ARC Programs, in association with SD23, has developed a webinar titled "Teen Survival Kit: How To Talk to Your Teen About Drugs and Alcohol". It is designed to provide parents and caregivers with basic drug/alcohol information to help them engage in conversations with their teen. The webinar has been broken down into 4 10-15 minute modules.
The topics for each module are:
-Facts and Stats About Teens and Drugs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbB2fe9JjyA&index=1&list=PLMRKxYiJoMs3eM4X-zm3YJH6FvEpso4SA )
-Marijuana
-Other Drugs and Their Effects
-How To Talk to Your Teen About Drugs
As other community events are advertised for the West Kelowna area, we will try to post them here.
